Rainy Stuttgart

Yesterday, my mother left for her travel quite early in the morning. I was still busy with some stuff, besides, I waited for the postman, and then it started raining on and on so I didn't want to start. In the afternoon, finally, the rain was lighter so I left my mother's home for hitchhiking and had not to wait too long: A nice young woman, working in the staff management, took me to Backnang and the S-Bahn to Stuttgart.
There I met Nina and had some Latte Macchiato with her. (By the way - I am still missing her address. She wanted to give it to me.) Later we met a guy who had some folding bikes to sell, real folding bikes, but we all thought, for hitchhiking it would be still too heavy and large baggage. So I stay with no bike still.
Close to midnight I met Carla, my first host on the trip (if my mother doesn't count) in Allmandring's Boddschamber. With some friends we had some beer and later that night I had the pleasure to surf her guest mattress. So today I am in the train and bus which will bring me next to Denkendorf where the A8's petrol station is easily to reach by feet.

a nice poem in the tram to Denkendorf

The real hitchhiking direction France is soon to come. The weather is nice, warm, sunny. I am excited, the spirit of adventure is already starting to flood through my veins...
Yay! I missed that! :-)
