Enjoying the Algarve

Short before midnight there were two men in a car going to Portimao, who could take me until the end of the city. There was a bus stop and a train station close but the time was already to late for public transportation and the conditions for hitchhiking weren't good either even when it was close to the runway for the speedway for Lagos. Whether it was to late for the bus I could not check out since there wasn't anything to indicate anything. I found a nice place for my tent and had a good sleep. The next morning I tried to hitchhike first from the runway which did not work then from the bus stop with a sign which did not work either. Then after about one hour I got a bus for Lagos and from there another to Raposeira where my friend Valentin was already waiting for me for days. He and his friends Vincent, Kasia and Agata came with their car to pick me up and we went altogether directly to the beach to stay there for hours. After putting on sun oil we played some beach ball, went swimming, Valentin and I went climbing on the rocks in the sea and did cliff jumping from about five to twelve meters height. From time to time I asked myself whether the financial crisis even had effects on the swim suit market since almost half of all women had only half bikinis. We stayed there from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, then bought some things for the dinner which we had on the camping next to Sagres, where the others were already staying for two weeks. The dinner was rice and easy prepared vegetables, very tasty. After dinner we played a German game called 'Settlers', then we went to the camping's car where we stayed until late, like 2:00am in the morning.
